The Pointmaker® PVI-05 video arrow is a versatile, easy-to-use video component that assists presenters by generating a single arrow pointer over the video image. The only component is a joystick controller which is easily connected between a monitor and video source. With the joystick, operators can direct the arrow to point in any of eight different directions. Once the arrow is selected, operators may position it anywhere on the screen by tilting the joystick.
Applications
Use the video arrow to draw attention to important areas on video images used in
- boardrooms
- classrooms
- videoconferences
- distance learning sessions
- courtrooms, and more
Features
A single rugged case contains the joystick controller, matte buttons, select button, positioning control and all connections needed. The power cord and power supply are included.
One of eight different arrow pointers can be selected for display simply by pressing the joystick button. Pointers are oriented in eight different directions (0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, etc.).
Gray level or "matte" controls adjust the gray level of the arrow from white to black to achieve optimal contrast between the pointer and the video image.
The ergonomically-designed joystick control easily guides the pointer across the video screen.
The ability to view the video image alone without a pointer can be achieved by simply pressing the joystick button until the arrow disappears.
