Features
- DRAW AND/OR POINT. Circle important features of a video image. Underscore for emphasis, or important data on the image. Point by positioning a single arrow or other pointer such as cross hairs and dots anywhere over the video image, or by placing several arrows or other pointers alongside each point as the point is discussed.
- TYPE notes, outlines or labels directly on your image using the PVI-83 keyboard.
- COMBINE pointers and drawn lines to annotate an image during a detailed discussion.
- GET ATTENTION WITH COLOR. Choose up to 7 different colors to separate points being made or to increase contrast with the background image.
- A SOLID BACKGROUND can replace the video input to create an "electronic chalkboard/whiteboard."
- CLEAR and UNDO/ERASE OPTION. Clear lines and pointers all at once or use the undo/erase option. Undo allows you to clear lines and pointers one at a time beginning with the most recently placed annotation. Erase option the gives users the ability to erase markings little by little instead of undoing the last annotation. It also supports the SMART™ Pen Tray eraser and colors, allowing you to draw in whatever pen color you pick up. The erase option disables multiple overlays.
- CONTROLLERS. Draw and point directly on the monitor with an RS-232 digitizing tablet (PVI-83DR),USB digitizing tablet (PVI-83DU),and/or RS-232 or USB compatible touch screen.Ask about the PVI-83 COMM option that allows up to 10 digitizing tablets or touch-screens to be used in one setting. The PVI-83 comes standard with a keyboard.
- 3rd PARTY CONTROL. The PVI-83 may be controlled via RS-232 with a computer, an AMX, Crestron, or other compatible remote programmable A/V system.
- OPTIONAL SIMPLE A/V CONTROL. A/V remote control comes to the PVI-83 with the UTROL-MT remote control system.Integrated with Mediatech's Room/Media Control (MTBuilder)software, UTROL-MT lets you easily design control panels on a PC and download them into the Pointmaker's memory. The panels then become a seamless part of the Pointmaker menu system. During a presentation, you can quickly recall the panels to select and control a wide variety of A/V components. Just as quickly, you can return the Pointmaker to video marking. Add COMM ports to expand the number of devices you can control.
Multipoint
Collaborative annotation over LAN or Internet becomes a reality with the MULTIPOINT system for Pointmaker® Video Markers, by adding annotation to your existing videoconference system. Now, two or more people can interactively mark over shared video images, bringing a Pointmaker focus to meetings, whether participants are a floor, a city, or a country away.
The server software which coordinates the annotation information from each meeting attendee is available free of charge. You can have it emailed to you by filling out this form.
